YUMNA. is a multidimensional artist working across a wide range of media including sculpture, photography, and fashion. Her deep research into fashion began following her work in editorial fashion photography. The purpose of her research is twofold (1) to explore the foundation of garment design, and (2) learn and unlearn the methods through which the silhouette of a garment reaches perfection proportion on the body

 

Her eponymous womenswear label, ATELIER YUMNA was established in 2018. Her work correlates feminine principles with the presence of avant-garde beauty through structured silhouettes and luxurious fabrics. Her collections impart an attention to sharp lines and refined silhouettes that lend themselves to the body’s natural curvature. Her work is characterized by slim suiting, tailored outerwear, fluidity, and streamlined garments. All garments are individually constructed by YUMNA. in her studio. Her references are derived from the essence of the stylish, free–spirited, modern woman.
